why start a blog

I actually don't really know. But the truth is I take a lot of photos, and instead of launching a barrage of albums on Facebook or posting ten times a day on Instagram, I'd rather post them to a site (I don't have to pay for) for an audience that may include only me or may include a lot of other people. People who actually want to see what I take. Clients, friends, family, or just people who are interested. It's not that I think I'm particularly interesting, I just want to share what I make.

So here I'll be featuring series that I make, photos that mean a lot to me, updates on websites and my own life regarding photography (as well as other things). I just want to create and share. I love photography, I got my camera a little less than three years ago as I'm writing this and only started shooting (REALLY shooting) last summer. I hardly go a week without picking it up now, and I rarely go a few days without plugging up my hard drive and opening up Lightroom. I have a lot of interests but what I do most outside of work and seeing my friends is this. Often, the three collide.

Anyways, read or don't. Honestly, it won't affect my life in any capacity. But here are my words and my pictures and I'd love for someone besides myself to see them.
